Hiring new staff can be exciting but also involves many steps beyond the offer letter.
* Decide on which candidate you want to make an offer to
* Send an official offer letter
* Call the candidate as well and let them know you will be making an offer
* Set an official start date
* Set up the employees work space with all necessary equipment
* Work with IT department to get computer access ready
* Schedule orientation on the first day
* Introduce the new employee at a company meeting
* Tour the new employee of the facility
* Set a training schedule
* Take care of any paperwork on the first day
