Trading currency is a method of investing when trying to profit on short term exchange rate changes.
* Currency Trading is also referred to as FOREX Trading
* FOREX stand for Foreign Exchange Market
* Forex is an extremely liquid market - and extremely RISKY
* You can trade on the Forex 24 hours a day
* Margins are low but volumes are high
* Almost $4 trillion dollars is exchanged in currency trading daily
* Banks, hedge funds, mutual funds, institutional investors, private investors all trade currency
* London is the main trading center
* Changes in monetary flow between countries is the main factor in determining prices
* Euros to USD is the most heavily traded currency
* USD is involved in over half of all transactions
* Spot, futures, forwards, swaps and options are all traded on the Forex
