This is a list on some key long term financial data relevant to get an overview of the markets:
1. INFLATION in ths US over the last 75 years up to the year 2000 was an average of 3.2% annually.
2. In 1946 it was 18.2% and in 1932 DEFLATION was 10%.
3. From 1973 TO 1982 the cost of a basked of commonly purchased goods and services increased by 130%, a drop in 1 USD's purchasing power to about 42%.
