PERSONAL IMPROVEMENT: Getting Organized checklist (printable)

The act of getting organized may seem simple, yet most of us lack the motivation to take charge of our time and space. Below is a list of simple tasks you can do to start getting organized in any aspect of your life.

• Use a day planner to budget your time
• Organize your space regularly
• Start and finish one major project at a time
• Physically put things back after you use them
• Combine similar activities, such as sending emails
• Make “to do” lists by day, week, month
• Visit your “to do” lists regularly and cross things off
• Delegate tasks to spouses, children, friends, coworkers
• Multitask on smaller projects and double your productivity
• Take time to relax between tasks
• Think about what you want to accomplish before doing it
