SALES: Client Visits checklist
- Confirm the visit in writing or via e-mail, with exact directions. Attach a folder that describes your business if it is the first time the customer is visiting.
- Be on time.
- Have coffee/tea, cookies etc. ready before the client is due to arrive (if the meeting takes place at your place).
- If it is planned a long time ahead, then get in contact by phone or mail a few days the meeting is to take place.
- Presentation. Depends on your product/service, but don't make it too sophisticated, concentrate on your "story", the benefits to the client etc. Avoid "death by PowerPoint".
- Agree on a future course of events, next step etc.
